Daytime restrictions were in place Monday at the Route 248 ramps into Palmerton, in conjunction with the 248 resurfacing project. Closures are from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. today, Delaware Avenue to 248 east, and 248 west to Delaware Avenue, and Friday, 248 east to Delaware Avenue will be closed from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The work is part of a project to rehabilitate Route 248 in Carbon County.
