Nietz had previously ruptured his achilles tendon and underwent three hours of surgery before making it back to the Colts dugout. Joe Teprovich delivers an outstanding mound effort, allowing just three hits and no runs while striking out seven in six innings of work. Joe Ott stars at the plate, collecting four hits and knocking in three runs. Tim Matula chips in with a pair of hits and an RBI, and Ryan Wertman finishes with two RBIs.
