The Carbon County Sports Hall of Fame has announced that this year’s banquet has been canceled.

The banquet had been tentatively scheduled to be held in May, but due to Pennsylvania’s current restrictions on indoor crowds because of COVID-19, organizers made the decision to cancel it.

The banquet, which was also canceled last year by the pandemic, will return in 2022.
