State police at Fern Ridge report on crashes

State police at Fern Ridge reported on crashes investigated by troopers:

• On April 1 at 5:09 p.m. a two-vehicle crash was reported on East Old Stage Road in Penn Forest Township, Carbon County. Troopers said Michael W. Wine, 44, of Jim Thorpe, driving a 2014 Dodge Ram truck, was making a right hand turn from Minisink Trail onto Old Stage Road when his vehicle struck a 2018 Honda Civic driven by Kimberly G. Desjadon, 24, of Albrightsville.

No one was injured. The Honda sustained heavy damages and had to be towed. The Dodge was driven from the scene.

Troopers cited Wine for a stop sign violation.

• A hit-and-run crash was reported at 9:51 p.m. on March 31 along Old Route 115 in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County. Troopers said Joseph M. Lloyd, 57, of Blakeslee, was driving a 2018 Mazda 3 northbound when a southbound vehicle crossed the centerline and struck the driver’s side mirror and door of the Mazda. After impact the other driver continued southbound at a high rate of speed.

Lloyd was not injured.

• Another hit-and-run was reported on March 28 at 5:17 p.m. along Kinsley Drive in Chestnuthill Township.

Troopers said the crash occurred in the parking lot of Personal Touch Cleaners. Troopers said Amanda Levy, 37, of Saylorsburg, driving a 2019 Nissan Titan, was parked in the center area of the lot. As she left the parking stall turning left her vehicle struck a parked 2013 Ford Fusion. The owner of the Ford and a witness were standing beside the struck vehicle. Levy fled the scene heading southbound on Weir Lake Road. No injuries were reported.

Levy was cited.
