Police investigate Schuylkill road rage death

A road rage incident turned deadly in Schuylkill County Monday afternoon.

State Police at Schuylkill said a red Dodge Ram and silver Honda Accord were traveling on Route 61 at Brick Hill Road in West Brunswick Township. The vehicles stopped and both parties got out and started a confrontation.

One man pulled a knife and stabbed the victim multiple times. The victim, George Marcincin, 38 of Orwigsburg died at the scene.

The suspect, who police have not identified, left the scene. Police pulled him over on Route 61 at Holly Road and Chestnut Ridge roads. He was taken into custody.

Police thanked police from Orwigsburg, Schuylkill Haven and Penn State University Schuylkill Haven campus for their cooperation.

Police asked anyone with information to contact the station.
