Schuylkill County Coroner deputies are on the scene of an incident in West Brunswick Township on Route 61 in the area of BB & T Bank.

Schuylkill County Coroner Dr. David G. Moylan III said he received a call about 3 p.m. from the Schuylkill County Communications Center. Two deputy coroners are on scene. He said one person is dead. A virtual autopsy will be done at the Simon Kramer Cancer Institute, New Philadelphia. A traditional autopsy is planned for the Dauphin County Forensic Center. Additional information was not available.

A supervisor with the communications center said a call came in at 1:55 p.m. for a reported stabbing. The supervisor said a northbound lane is open but the rest of the road is shutdown.
