Cinicola starts and goes 5 2/3 innings, striking out 10 while walking five and allowing the only Spartans hit. Dennis tosses the final 1 1/3 innings, recording three of the four outs via the strikeout. Tony Taptich delivers a three-run homer in the second inning for the Olympinas, coached by Ken Eck, with Tom Hartman, Bo Albert and Carl Lehman all contributing RBI singles.
