Lehigh Township Police coordinated enforcement with the Walnutport Police Department in Northamtpon County on Tuesday to conduct a traffic enforcement detail.

As part of the detail, West Mountain View Drive was targeted, along with Main Street in Walnutport borough. Both enforcement details were about 1.5 miles apart.

During the detail, Lehigh Township Police issued 51 traffic citations, while Walnutport Borough Police issued 32 citations.

Funding for this detail was provided by PennDOT’s Aggressive Driver Enforcement.

Pennsylvania State Police also conducted enforcement as well during this time on Route 248.

Lehigh Township Police Department is committed to reducing traffic collisions on its roadways.
