Faith Alive Church

Faith Alive Church, 678 Pine St., Palmerton (Bowmanstown) holds two services each Sunday with Pastor Rob Timlin. At 9 a.m. is traditional service and 10:30 a.m. is a contemporary service. They have four options of worship: in the sanctuary, in Leah’s Room (masks required), in the parking lot (FM 104.3), or Faith Alive-Facebook Live.

The Holy Week Worship Schedule is as follows:

April 1: at 7 p.m., Maundy Thursday with Communion.

April 2: at 7 p.m., Community Good Friday service.

April 4: at 6:30 p.m., Easter sunrise service held outdoors.

April 4: at 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Resurrection Sunday worship services.

ABC Food Pantry is collecting food to stock up the pantry for needy people in the community. All monetary gifts or food will be welcomed and appreciated.

Living Hope Lighthouse Church

Living Hope Lighthouse Church, 705 Third St., Palmerton will hold Good Friday Service at 7 p.m.

An Easter Sunrise service will be held at 6:45 a.m. on April 4. It will be held in the Borough Park Gazebo. There will be hot drinks and a light continental breakfast available in the gazebo. If the weather is bad this service will be canceled.

Easter worship service will be held at 10 a.m. in the church.

Jerusalem UCC

Jerusalem United Church of Christ, 545 Church Drive, Palmerton (Trachsville), worship services will be held in the sanctuary with limited seating. Social distancing and masks are required. Supply Pastor Don Quayle will lead the worship.

You may also remain in your vehicle in the church parking lot and listen to the service on radio station 95.5 FM. The service will also be livestreamed on Facebook at 10:30 a.m. The service will be recorded for viewing at any time at your convenience on Facebook or the church website.

Holy Week Schedule is as follows: April 1, Maundy Thursday service will be at 7 p.m.; April 2, Good Friday service will be at 7 p.m.; and April 4, Easter Sunday services will be held in the sanctuary at 9 and 10:30 a.m.

Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church

Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church, 500 Church Drive, Palmerton (Trachsville), Good Friday service will be held at 7 p.m. in the parking lot. April 4, Easter Sunday Communion service will be held at 10:15 a.m. both inside the church and in the parking lot.

BWC

Bethany Wesleyan Church, 457 Delaware Ave., Palmerton will be holding Good Friday, April 2, service from 6:30-7:30 p.m. During this service you will experience live preaching, communion and a time of reflection.

Easter Sunday services will be held at 9 and 10:30 a.m. There will be an uplifting message from Pastor Kevin, live music and a fun party for the kids. All are invited to attend.

Trunk or treat egg hunt

An Easter trunk or treat egg hunt will be held at the Palmerton Borough Park on Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon. The event is sponsored by the Palmerton Easter Caper. Volunteers are needed and invited to hand out eggs. You may line up around the Borough Park.

Holy Trinity Lutheran Church

Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 502 Lafayette Ave., Palmerton, will hold Maundy Thursday on April 1 at 7 p.m. The Good Friday service will be held at 7 p.m. at St. Matthew’s.

Easter Sunday service will be held in the sanctuary at 10:15 a.m. Due to limited seating please call the church the 610-826-2524 if you plan to attend. Masks are required. If you are unable to attend in person you may join on Zoom.

Palmerton Area Library

The Palmerton Area Library will be closed April 2 and April 3.
