This weekend we celebrate the Fifth Sunday of Lent.

The Gospel reminds us that the grain of wheat must die to produce fruit and in our dying to self we bear much fruit for Christ.

Our second offering is for Operation Rice Bowl, our Parish Lenten charity. Also, we ask your support for our Holy Week and Easter flowers and a floral remembrance to those who were on the First Friday Communion Call list.

March 22 at 1:15 p.m. Stations of the Cross will be celebrated with the St. John Neumann students. Monday evening at 7 p.m., we will host a Holy Hour with Confession.

Four priests will be available for Confessions during the Holy Hour. We encourage our families to participate and receive this sacrament in preparation for Easter.

On March 24, we will celebrate Stations of the Cross at 7 p.m. This Lenten devotion invites the faithful to recall Our Lord’s journey to Calvary.

The parish staff will meet on Wednesday for their monthly meeting and the Parish Finance Committee will meet on March 25 at 6 p.m. following all guidelines by CDC and the Diocese of Allentown.

The Diocesan Development Office will be using the Parish Center on March 26 from 2 to 5 p.m. to prepare for the upcoming diocesan “Because We Care” campaign.

On March 27 at 5 p.m. and March 28 at 9:30 a.m. we will celebrate Palm Sunday. Palms will be distributed after each Mass.

Please call the rectory office to reserve your seat today.

Father Bill asks that we continue to pray through the intercession of Father Walter Ciszek that God will bring spiritual, physical and emotional healing to all who continue to struggle with COVID-19.
