Northwestern Lehigh’s newly renovated junior-senior high school was dedicated during a program attended by about 800 people in the school’s gymnasium. David R. Smith, principal of the school, labeled the accomplishments made as ”the culmination of an idea conceived to better educate our children.”

The renovation for the new facility cost approximately $4,455,000. As a result, it is expected to accommodate a pupil capacity of 1,200, which is 300 more than the school’s present enrollment in grades 8-12.

Among the facilities included in the new structure are 16 regular classrooms, eight laboratories, five business education rooms, three instruction and group meeting areas, two arts and crafts rooms, a library and a three-station auditorium that seats 470 people.
