Nesquehoning VFW recently named Keith Gogal as the Teacher of the Year.
Gogal is a 2005 graduate of Bloomsburg University.
He then went on to complete his student teaching at Tamaqua Area Junior/Senior High School before getting hired at Panther Valley Junior/Senior High School.
“Over the course of my career, I have taught every course the high school offers,” Gogal said.
In addition to teaching, Gogal has served as a coach of the Panther Valley boys basketball team, is the sophomore class adviser, he has taken part in a number of community fundraisers at the school and he is a volunteer weight room coach.
