Good Samaritans in Bowmanstown may want to take heed.

They could eventually be in line for a Neighbor of the Month award.

Mayor Zach Snyder broached the concept to borough council on Tuesday.

Snyder he’s like to begin the initiative next month.

He added the award will be given out monthly.

As part of the concept, Snyder said it will come with a framed acknowledgment.

“I think that’s something positive to be done in town,” Snyder said.
