State police at Lehighton reported investigating two crashes.
• A one-vehicle crash happened at 11:19 p.m. on Feb. 27 along Spruce Hollow Road in Towamensing Township, Carbon County.
Troopers said Wayne P. Pastor, 22, of Kunkletown, was driving a 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 truck eastbound when the vehicle hit a patch of ice. The truck left the road and struck a utility pole along the left side where it came to rest.
Pastor and his passenger, Jessica E. Altemose, 23, of Kunkletown, were not injured. Troopers indicated Pastor is facing a citation for driving a vehicle at a unsafe speed.
• A one-vehicle crash was reported at 10:45 p.m. on Feb. 22 along Blue Ridge Road in Ross Township, Monroe County.
Troopers said Felicity A. Varrone, 26, of Saylorsburg, was driving a 2007 Honda Civic eastbound when she lost control of the vehicle on the “slick” roadway. The vehicle went onto the berm and struck a utility pole.
Varrone was not injured. She was cited for driving a vehicle at a unsafe speed.
