Two members of the Carbon County Courthouse building custodial staff have announced plans to retire.

They are Paul J. Demetrovic, 204 W. Hazard St., Summit Hill, and Arthur J. Reese, 401 North St., Jim Thorpe.

Demetrovic is a carpenter/maintenance man and Reese serves as a foreman on the staff.

Their retirements were accepted by the board of commissioners, whose chairman, Commissioner Albert U. Koch, pointed out the men have been longtime dedicated workers on behalf of the county. Their union positions will be posted for applicants prior to their successors being named.
