A Schuylkill County fire company was the victim of a burglary recently.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said troopers were dispatched to the Klingerstown Fire Company, located at Ridge and Carnival roads in Upper Mahantango Township, for a reported break-in. On scene troopers learned that two 100-pound propane tanks, gasoline and other items were stolen from a number of outdoor sheds on the fire company property. The thefts occurred sometime between Feb. 1 and 9. Total value of the missing items were set at $487.79.
