One-party state?

Did you ever wonder what it would be like to live in one-party state? Well wonder no more. You are living in one. The major means of communication, in today’s terms means social media, has now been taken over completely by the left.

Not only has Donald Trump, when still the president of the U.S., been permanently banned from Twitter, but the platform’s rapidly growing, open-to-all substitute Parler has almost simultaneously been deplatformed by Google.

Then Apple made it move, first threatening, then demanding that Parler kowtow to Cupertino’s vision on what the world should be. More insidiously, Facebook has started to delete groups or forums of people who publicly stepped away from the Democratic Party because of its extreme-left policies.

Another day and Parler was gone from the App Store. Amazon’s Jeff Bezos - the billionaire of billionaires, the man who has undoubtedly made more money during COVID-19 than anyone else on this planet, ejected Parler from his Amazon Web Services servers. Parler disappeared; its millions of users disenfranchised and denied freedom of speech.

Sound Chinese? More than a bit!
