The community of Summit Hill took time out of its schedule last night to pray together at an ecumenical service of worship held at the First Presbyterian Church. An estimated 225 people attended.

The Revs. Carl and Donna Gray served as hosts for the event, which had as its theme “Called to be One Through the Cross of Our Lord.”

Other clergy participating were the Rev. Frank Spada, pastor of St. Paul UCC; the Rev. Donald Henry, pastor of St. Joseph Catholic Church; the Rev. Robert Williams, pastor of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church; the Rev. Mary Ellen Blouch, pastor of the United Methodist Church; and the Rev. John Naegele, pastor of Trinity-St. Philip Episcopal Church.
