Dear Editor:

I don’t know how many other people are disgusted with the U.S. Postal Service; I sure am!

They say there is a delay because of the pandemic. That could be true, but three or four weeks, that’s crazy! Maybe they should have thought about that when they cut back through layoffs and getting rid of machines!

You pay more for priority shipping, you get a tracking number and it states two or three day delivery date and there could be a later couple days with the volume of mail. But two to three weeks!

A package was mailed to me from Louisiana on Dec. 5. The person who sent it tracked it to Lehigh Valley Dec. 10, delivered to me Dec. 22! Why? A Christmas card sent Dec. 7 from the Lehigh Valley, I received Dec. 29! To me it seems like Pony Express!

I hope there are more people totally disgusted!
