Rioters who supported Trump’s allegations about Pennsylvania election issues did so because of swing state lawmakers’ false stories about election fraud. The main conspiracy theories in Pennsylvania came from Scott Perry and Doug Mastriano. Mastriano used campaign funds to rent buses for supporters to travel to Washington on Jan. 6, where rioters stormed the U.S. Capitol, Trump supporters who believed these false lies of voter fraud.

A day before the riots, Pennsylvania Republicans refused to seat Democrat Jim Brewster, who won a tight race. They then removed Lt. Gov. John Fetterman because he wanted to seat Brewster. Now Republicans want to change how Pennsylvania court judges are elected since they didn’t rule in their favor on various issues. Republicans gerrymandered our state, now they want to do the same to the judges in our state.

They want to uphold voter rights as long as those votes are for them, otherwise they are fraudulent. As is the case with the 2020 election. Even though 60 cases of voter fraud were thrown out, sometimes by Trump-appointed judges, they still cry voter fraud. If the party that loses calls voter fraud without evidence, our democracy will be lost. We need to vote out those who refuse to abide by the will of the people.
