State police at Schuylkill Haven reported on the following incidents:

• On Dec. 22, 2020, at 12:15 a.m. troopers conducted a traffic stop of a 2016 Hyundai Elantra along East Sunbury Street, in Minersville. During the stop Shannon Edmondson, 42, of Pottsville, was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Drug charges were filed.

• On Dec. 29 at 1:13 a.m. troopers conducted a traffic stop of a 2005 Pontiac GTO at South Tremont Street at Route 584 in Reilly Township. During the stop Chad Lytle, 46, of Kulpmont, was found in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Drug charges were filed.

• On Jan. 2 at 5:34 p.m. Dirk Andrew, 48, of Tallulah, Louisiana, was stopped at Anspach Drive and Suedberg Road, in Pine Grove Township, operating a vehicle reported stolen from Heritage Chryslver Dodge Jeep in Harrisburg. He was arraigned before a district judge and released on $25,000 unsecured bail.

• Troopers reported on an incident that occurred at 9:41 p.m. on Jan. 3 along East Center Street in Frailey Township. Troopers said Mark Ginter, 54, of Donaldson, Schuylkill County, engaged in a physical altercation with a 42-year-old woman from Donaldson. The victim did not have any injuries. During the investigation Ginter grabbed the handle of a stun gun belonging to a trooper. He briefly resisted before being taken into custody.

He was arraigned before a district judge on criminal charges and committed to the county prison in Pottsville after failing to post $10,00 straight cash bail.

• On Dec. 27 at 10:59 a.m. troopers were investigating a two-vehicle crash. It was determined one of the drivers, Russell Badman, 32, of Hereford, Berks County, was under the influence and placed under arrest for DUI. Troopers said two boys, both age 1, were in the vehicle at the time.

• On Dec. 20 at 10:37 a.m. troopers responded to a crash along Sunbury Road at Keystone Boulevard in Foster Township. The investigation showed the vehicle drifts off the road and struck a utility pole. The driver, Donald Smith, 52, of Pottsville, was found to be under the influence and was taken into custody for DUI.

• On Jan. 3 at 9:52 a.m. along North Greenview Road in North Manheim Township, James Barlet, 50, of Schuylkill Haven, was found in possession of a 2020 Toyota Camry, which had been reported stolen. He was charged with receiving stolen property.
