The Jim Thorpe wrestling program has paused activities due to a positive case within the program.

The Olympians started their 10-day shutdown on Wednesday, when they were originally scheduled to travel to Pottsville.

“Unfortunately we are dealing with a positive case and look forward to returning soon,” Jim Thorpe head coach Shawn Albert said in an email.

Jim Thorpe has wrestled one match so far this season, this past Saturday at Tri-Valley.
