Fundraiser postponed

Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church, Trachsville, will not be holding its January meat pie sale due to the continuing pandemic. It will be held at a later date to be announced.

Faith Alive Church

Faith Alive Church, 678 Pine St., Palmerton (Bowmanstown) holds two services each Sunday with Pastor Rob Timlin. At 9 a.m. is a traditional service and 10:30 a.m. is a contemporary service.

Four options of worship remain the same. You may worship in the sanctuary or in Leah’s Room (masks required), or in the parking lot with audio at FM 104.3 or online through Facebook Live.

In the event of inclement weather the delays or cancellations will appear on Channel 69 News WFMZ.

Other weekly events include Prayer and Praise on Wednesday nights at 7 p.m. and Men’s Small Group Bible Study on Thursday nights at 7 p.m.

Please note there is no Sunday school during the month of January.

The mission for January is Child Fellowship of Carbon-Lehigh Counties.

CEF is devoted to reaching children with the Gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the year.

The ABC Food Pantry could use food donations to help the needy in the community.

Holy Trinity Lutheran

Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 502 Lafayette Ave., Palmerton, continues to hold worship on Sunday mornings at 10:15 a.m.

The church will be open with seating limitations.

If you wish to attend the service please call the church at 610-826-2524. If you are unable to attend in person you may join on Zoom.

Bible study is held on Thursday mornings at 10:30 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall.

Masks and social distancing are required.

Palmerton library

The Palmerton Area Library will be closed for the foreseeable future due to staff exposure to COVID-19.

They are sorry for any inconvenience.

Jerusalem United Church of Christ

Jerusalem United Church of Christ, 545 Church Drive, Palmerton (Trachsville) will hold Sunday worship at 10:30 a.m. Worship services are led by supply pastor Don Quayle.

The remainder of the winter Sunday services will be held in the church sanctuary.

Due to COVID-19 and the social distancing requirements there will be limited seating in the sanctuary.

You may also listen to the service in your car in the church parking lot on radio station 95.5 FM. The services will be livestreamed on Facebook at 10:30 a.m.

The service will also be recorded for viewing at any time at your convenience on Facebook or the church website.
