Randy S. Detrick, 61, of Saylorsburg, was cited by state police at the Fern Ridge barracks after his car hit a house in a crash at 9:35 a.m. Dec. 24 on Cottontail Lane in Chestnuthill Township.

Police said he was driving a 2007 Mazda eastbound when he failed to negotiate a right curve in the road and lost control of the vehicle. Police said he was unable to regain control of the car, which crossed into the oncoming lane, left the left side of the road and struck a residence at 423 Cottontail Lane.

Police said the vehicle sustained disabling front-end damages. He was uninjured.
