Ambulance seeks judgment

The Palmerton Community Ambulance, through its attorney, James A. Havassy, Allentown, has placed on record a judgment in its favor against Lauren C. Walck, 532 E. Kline Ave., Lansford, in the amount of $3,910.16.

The judgment was ordered by Magisterial District Judge William Kissner, Palmerton, on Jan. 28, 2016.

Onemain Financial Group LLC, Evansville, Indiana, has placed on record a judgment in its favor against Scott Reynolds, 112 W. Columbus Ave., Nesquehoning, in the amount of $9,180.20.

The judgment was ordered by Magisterial District Judge Casimir T. Kosciolek, Lansford, on March 2, 2020.

Appeals suspension

Heather Summers, 140 Sunset Drive, Lehighton, has appealed the suspension of her driver’s license by the commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Transportation, Harrisburg.

The license was scheduled to be on March 12, suspended on Dec. 25 for a one-year period due to a conviction for driving while her license was suspended or revoked on June 30, 2017.

Mortgage foreclosure

Carrington Mortgage Services LLC, Anaheim, California, has filed a mortgage foreclosure complaint against Marie Boyd, Allentown, and John Boyd, Easton. Over a property located at 120 Behrens Road, Penn Forest Township.

Sought is judgment in the amount of $134,283.60, plus interest, attorney’s fees and costs of the suit.

Credit default alleged

The Bank of America N.A., Charlotte, North Carolina, has filed a credit card default suit against Nora O. Oregan, 95 White Oak Road, Lehighton.

Judgment in the amount of $17,322.60 is sought.

Township files liens

Franklin Township, with offices at 889 Fairyland Road, Lehighton, has filed two municipal liens against Timothy Zimmerman, 146 Church St., Lehighton, and the Estate of Elaine Zimmerman, over unpaid garbage bills.

One lien is in the amount of $2,427.98, representing unpaid bills (and costs) from 2015-2020 for a property at 156 Church St., and the other lien is in the amount of $3,710.26, representing unpaid bills (and costs) from 2015-2019 for a property at 146 Church St.

Civil suit started

Dareain Pruitt, 312 Gypsy Hill Gardens, Lehighton, has filed a civil action against Debra M. Lauchnor, 336 Center Alley, Lehighton, seeking damages in excess of $50,000, alleging negligence that caused him personal injury due to an accident on Jan. 28, 2019.

The plaintiff states he was a lawful pedestrian walking on Mahoning Street in Lehighton and crossing the intersection with South Ninth Street when the defendant made a left turn from Mahoning Street and struck the plaintiff in the left side.

The plaintiff alleged he sustained serious and permanent injuries because of the alleged negligent and careless driving of Lauchnor.
