No one was hurt when a vehicle slip on the snow-covered roadway of Interchange Road in Towamensing Township at 6:34 a.m. Dec. 18 and landed in a field.

State police at the Lehighton said the 2004 Saturn Vue was northbound on Route 209 when the driver lost control of it after it slid on snow. The vehicle was removed from the field and driven from the scene.

Police said the driver was cited for failure to drive at a safe speed. The driver’s name was not released.
