State police at Fern Ridge investigate thefts

State police at the Fern Ridge barracks are investigating the following thefts:

• A wallet was taken from a parked vehicle in Chestnuthill Township.

The incident was reported to have happened between 4 p.m. Dec. 10 and 10:30 a.m. Dec. 11 along Weir Lake Road.

Police said the victim, a 41-year-old man from Brodheadsville, told them someone entered his vehicle while it was parked in the driveway and stole the wallet.

• Police have filed theft of a motor vehicle charges against Arthur Lloyd Jr., 34, of Albrightsville, following a call they received at 12:16 a.m. Dec. 10.

The victim is a 52-year-old woman from Pawnee Trail, Albrightsville, said Lloyd, a relative, stole a 2009 Honda CRV from her residence.

• A 51-year-old Albrightsville woman is a victim of theft by deception. The resident of Grouse Trail in the township reported to police at 4:21 p.m. Dec. 7 that her credit report shows unwanted cellphone accounts on it.

• Police said they were called at 2:16 a.m. Dec. 12 to the 400 block of Frantz Road in Chestnuthill Township for a vehicle theft. The resident reported her 2019 Chevrolet Equinox was stolen from her residence. The car was later located in the township.

Police said there are suspects in the incident.
