No one was injured when a car and a tractor trailer collided in the northbound lanes on Interstate 81 in Butler Township, according to state police at the Frackville barracks.

A 2007 Acura driven by Richard S. Mero Zambrano, 26, of West Hazleton, went out of control in the left lane of travel, crossed through the right lane and struck the concrete median. Police said the vehicle re-entered the traffic lanes in front of a 2017 Freightliner driven by Michael J. LaRusso, 33, of Chambersburg, where they collided.

Police said the Acura was towed from the scene. The rig was able to be driven from the scene.

Mero Zambrano was cited for the crash.
