Northern Lehigh School District does not need a 2 percent tax hike during these trying times. The board does not cut expenses. We need to protest against the school board in this district!

We need signs in RED on the streets to say “School Taxes Matter.”

The reason for the red is that the board is draining our blood!

House Bill 76 was introduced in the state Legislature to eliminate property school tax. We need to go to a sales tax. No politician should ever enter my driveway. A few years ago a school board member created a position in the district for his wife.

Remember this town cannot support a tax burden. Recently the Times News published an article with the district having a large surplus at year’s end. It was stated at a meeting this year the tax increase is bad but, next year it will be even greater. Heads-up to the taxpayers! Don’t say I didn’t warn you! People try to compare us to Parkland. You cannot even come close. Remember that district has industry and businesses. One indicator of the burden is the percentage of free or subsidized lunch program. Let the superintendent move in the district if he supports a tax increase!

During these times festivals and events are canceled, but we still have a circus, The School Board.
