Oh the lights of Christmas

Take time to experience Christmas with area tree displays.

In Palmerton, you can stroll the borough park to see 154 themed trees. The park is big enough that you can stay socially distant and get some decorating ideas. Trees will be on display through Jan. 7. The trees are lit at dusk.

Be sure to leave some extra food staples at the Little Free Pantry box, or take something if you need it.

Lehighton has 150 sponsored trees in the upper and lower park. Check out the video on the “Lehighton Borough Parks and Recreation Board” Facebook page.

For more lights and colors, see the 40 decorated trees in the Walnutport Park. The themes are as varied as the sponsors, with the borough police department using police tape as garland and others in memory of loved ones.
