Schuylkill County Coroner David J. Moylan III released the name of the woman who died in the Tamaqua High rise fire Friday.

Moylan said the woman’s name is Margaret Brode, who he said is in her 70s.

A virtual autopsy conducted Friday found Brode had “extensive thermal trauma.” A cause of death is pending results of carbon monoxide blood levels, which were sent to a lab for testing, Moylan said. Results could be known in a few days. A traditional autopsy isn’t needed, Moylan said.
