3 face drug counts after stop

Three New York state residents are facing drug and related charges following a traffic stop that occurred on Nov. 28 at 4:19 p.m. along Route 115 at Klock Road in Tobyhanna Township, Monroe County.

State police at Fern Ridge said troopers stopped a 2020 Jeep Cherokee for a stop sign violation. The driver, Dominique Gray, 32, of Brooklyn, was believed to be under the influence of marijuana.

Field sobriety tests indicated impairment. There was about 50 grams of marijuana found in the vehicle.

Gray and two passengers, Rameek Gray, 23 and Tiffany Gray, 30, also of Brooklyn, refused to admit to possession of the marijuana. Dominique Gray also refused to submit to a blood test.

All three were taken into custody. Troopers said appropriate charges have been filed. The three were later released to the custody of a family member.
