State police at Fern Ridge

State police at Fern Ridge reported on the following incidents:

• On Nov. 22 at 3:46 p.m. troopers conducted a traffic stop of a 2008 Mercury Milan in the 5500 block of Route 115 in Tobyhanna Township, Monroe County. The driver, Donavan Jones, 29, of Bronx, New York, was believed to be under the influence of marijuana. After failing field sobriety tests, Jones was taken into custody. He also had in his possession marijuana and drug-related paraphernalia. Charges have been filed.

• On Nov. 20 at 5:30 p.m. troopers were dispatched to Donalds Road in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County, for a verbal dispute. A 56-year-old man from Effort, who police declined to identify, threatened to harm a 56-year-old woman from Effort. He was charged with terroristic threats.

• On Nov. 21 at 9:42 p.m. troopers conducted a traffic stop of a 2013 Honda Civic along Route 115 at Lauff Lane, in Tunkhannock Township, Monroe County. The driver, a 22-year-old woman from Boston, Massachusetts, who troopers declined to identify, was found to be under the influence of alcohol. She was taken into custody and transported to the barracks for a breath test. Charges will be filed.

• On Nov. 21 at 7:29 p.m. troopers conducted a traffic stop of a 2006 Jeep Commander along Route 903 at Jordan Road in Penn Forest Township, Carbon County. The driver, a 45-year-old man from Albrightsville, who troopers declined to identify, was found to be under the influence of alcohol. He refused a test, troopers said. Charges to be filed.

• A 22-year-old man from Paterson, New Jersey, is facing charges of driving under the influence as a result of a traffic stop made by police at 10:20 p.m. Nov. 25 at the intersection of Route 115 and Hetter Lane in Tunkhannock Township.

Police said he was driving a 2012 Nissan Maxima when he was stopped for a violation and police discovered he was under the influence.

The charges will be filed pending the result of laboratory tests, police said.
