State police report the following:

• Stephen Berger, 32, of Lehighton, was cited by state police at the Lehighton barracks with harassment by physical contact after an incident at 9 p.m. Nov. 25 at a residence on Lower Nis Hollow Drive in East Penn Township.

Police said he “head-butted” his 82-year-old grandfather, from Lehighton, during a verbal altercation.

• Jane Kurtz, 34, and Christopher Kurtz, 39, both of Saylorsburg, were charged with possession of a controlled substance when state police at the Lehighton barracks responded to a death investigation at 7:19 p.m. Nov. 18 on Blue Ridge Road, Ross Township.

Police said while at the scene, they saw three marijuana plants in a detached garage at the residence and charged the couple accordingly.
