The Lutheran Church of St. John in the Heights, 319 South Ave., Jim Thorpe, will close temporarily for the period of Nov. 29 through Dec. 20 due to the increased COVID-19 cases being reported. The worship service can be heard over Station WLSH, 1410 AM, in Lansford or by logging on to www.wmgh.com.

The services will be broadcast for listening with Pastor F. Peter Muhr leading worship along with limited participants. A decision will be made in the future regarding the Christmas Eve services, to be announced at a later date.

If Christmas Eve services are held there will be two - at 4:30 p.m. with children’s time and 7 p.m.
