Schuylkill County Election Director Albert Gricoksi said the election returns have been certified.

“I did it from my computer,” Gricoski said Monday of the results he sent to the Department of State at 2 p.m.

Gricoski said the commissioners signed the certification that says “we hereby certify that the attached reports are the official returns as they appear on record of the votes cast at the General Election held on Nov, 3, 2020,” Gricoski said.

He said the final vote tally for President-elect Joe Biden was 20,727 and 48,871 for President Donald Trump.

Earlier today, some media outlets reported the results in Schuylkill County would not be certified today. Gricoski said he didn’t know where they got that information.
