District 11 on Monday announced updated championship deadlines for its remaining football classifications.

The Class 1A, 2A, 3A, 4A and 6A championship games had their deadlines extended to Saturday, Nov. 28, which is the PIAA established deadline.

If a championship final is unable to be played by the extended deadline in any classification, the competing teams will be declared “co-champions” and awards will be provided to both teams.

Two contests that were postponed because of COVID issues were also rescheduled.

The District 11 Class 1A football championship final between No. 1 Williams Valley and No. 2 Tri Valley will also now be contested on Friday, Nov. 27, 2020 at noon at North Schuylkill.

And the Class 4A final between No. 1 North Schuylkill and No. 2 Notre Dame Green Pond will now be contested on Friday, Nov. 27 at 7 p.m. at Northwestern.
