Items worth $16K stolen in Schuylkill

State police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating a theft involving over $16,000 worth of items.

Troopers said on Oct. 16 at 8:50 a.m. they responded to a location along Renninger Avenue in North Manheim Township, for a theft.

The victim, a 64-year-old man from Reading, reported $16,700 worth of items removed from his business. The items included two digitizing software CDs valued at $13,000; Pac Man arcade game, $1,200; Ghyuss arcade game $600; three-tier candy machine, $200; four-tier candy machine, $200; and a coin operated super-market ride, $1,500.

Troopers are also investigating a theft from a vehicle incident reported on Oct. 19 at 11 a.m. Troopers said a 21-year-old man from Schuylkill Haven said his vehicle was entered while parked along Millers Road in Wayne Township. Removed was a Lois Vuittion bag valued at $2,000; cash of $2,500; a wallet containing ID and credit card; and a remote keyless system.

A 60-year-old man from Auburn, reported a trail camera, he had set up in the area of 300 Green Tree Drive in West Brunswick Township, was stolen. Value set at $50.
