State police at Stroudsburg reported investigating a hit-and-run crash in Monroe County at 1:30 p.m. on Oct. 6.

Troopers said Ryan G. Taranto, 21, of Kunkletown, was driving a 2006 Subaru Forester eastbound on Interstate 80 in Stroudsburg, when another vehicle attempted to pass him.

As the other vehicle attempted to pass the front end struck Taranto’s vehicle. After impact the other driver continued eastbound without stopping.

Taranto’s vehicle had minor damages to the rear. Taranto was taken to the Lehigh Valley Hospital - Pocono campus, East Stroudsburg, for treatment of a minor injury.
