Christ Evangelical Free Church will be taking part in an ecumenical Community Prayer Service to ask God to heal our community and our nation. It will be held at the Lehighton Amphitheater at noon on Oct. 17.

We are asked to adhere to the Pennsylvania state mandates of masks and social distancing from those outside your family. Hand sanitizing stations will be available at the entrance points.

Please bring a chair as available seating is limited. Please no political signs.

Christ Evangelical Free Church, 2420 Blakeslee Blvd. West will be hosting the following events:

• AWANA Harvest Fair for the community on Oct. 21 at 6:30 p.m. Children who want to attend do not have to be a member of AWANA. It is for kids 3 years old to sixth grade, and an adult should come with them. There will be over 20 harvest booths and games, treats and candy bags. It will be a fun night for all to enjoy.

• Thanksgiving dinner on Nov. 21 at 6 p.m. The food and tables will be set up to adhere to social distancing guidelines to ensure safety.
