A self-care center in Palmerton has shuttered its doors due to the coronavirus pandemic.

True Spa and Skin Care Center, located at 241 Delaware Ave., is the latest local business to feel the sting of COVID-19.

A letter has been posted on the outside of the building to notify customers of the closure.

“It is with heavy hearts and great thought, True Spa will be permanently closing due to COVID-19. Closure will be effective immediately.

“Thank you for your years of support. As always, be safe and stay healthy.”

Efforts to reach True Spa owner Tricia Schaefer were unsuccessful in time for today’s publication.

True Spa had been in operation for over 10 years.
