State police at Lehighton release details on crashes

State police at Lehighton released information on crashes:

• A Summit Hill driver is facing charges as the result of a crash.

State police at Lehighton said the crash was reported at 6 p.m. on Aug. 30 in the parking lot of the Riverwalck Saloon, 101 Centre St., Parryville.

Troopers said a 32-year-old woman, who troopers declined to identify, attempted to leave the parking lot and pulled out and struck another vehicle that was parked. It was determined, troopers said, that the woman was driving under the influence.

She was taken into custody and transported to the barracks for a breath test. Charges will be filed.

• Troopers also reported on Sept. 6 at 8:56 p.m. a traffic stop of a 1998 Audi A4 was conducted along Polk Township Road in Polk Township, Monroe County.

The driver, a 28-year-old man from Kunkletown, who troopers declined to identify, was fund under the influence and placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI.
