A driver fled the scene of a one-vehicle crash in Schuylkill County, but left his vehicle behind.

State police at Frackville said the crash occurred at 1:32 a.m. on Sept. 23 along Route 54 in Ryan Township.

A 2019 Nissan Altima was driven eastbound when the driver went off the road on a left curve. The vehicle crossed over the westbound lane and onto the berm where it struck a utility pole which caused disabling damages. The driver then fled the scene.

The vehicle was towed from the scene.
