State police at the Fern Ridge barracks said a license plate stolen from an Effort woman showed up on two toll bills the woman received.

The victim contacted police at 10:30 a.m. Sept. 21, telling them she received two toll bills that showed her stolen license plate on two separate vehicles that were photographed by electronic billing for tolls.
