Williamsport man hurt in Interstate 80 crash

Christopher P. Rohland, 53, of Williamsport, was injured in a one-vehicle crash at 11:18 a.m. Sept. 21 on Interstate 80 in Kidder Township, according to state police at the Fern Ridge barracks.

Police said the severity of his injuries is not known. He was transported by the Lake Harmony Rescue Squad to the Geisinger-Wyoming Valley Medical Center.

Police said he was driving a 2016 Toyota Camry eastbound on the interstate when it left the roadway and struck a rock embankment. The vehicle came to rest facing northeast in the left travel lane.

Rohland was cited for careless driving.

The vehicle was towed from the scene.
