Rite Aid is opening a no-charge COVID-19 drive-through testing site at the store at 480 W. Bertsch St. Lansford on Friday.
The testing sites will utilize simple self-swab nasal tests overseen by Rite Aid pharmacists and will operate between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. (Monday through Friday) and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Saturday and Sunday). All adults 18 years of age or older, even if they are not exhibiting virus symptoms, are eligible for testing and need to pre-register at www.riteaid.com. Patients can begin scheduling appointments online for the new locations today.
In addition to its commitment to COVID-19 testing, flu shots are now also available at all Rite Aid pharmacies in Pennsylvania. Getting a flu shot early is more important than ever this year to maintain a healthy immune system as the COVID-19 pandemic and flu season converge.
