The menu at the Panther Valley Senior Center for the week of Sept. 27 through Oct. 2 is as follows:

Monday: Reuben sandwich, cucumber salad, orange

Tuesday: Ham and cheese sandwich, carrot salad, apple slices

Wednesday: Turkey Cobb salad, roll, melon

Thursday: Deli club sandwich, coleslaw, pear

Friday: Chef salad with chicken, roll, pineapple

The senior center has also announced the following activities:

The Panther Valley Senior Center has announced upcoming events for Sept. 28 through Oct. 9.

Chair exercise on Sept. 28 at 10:30 a.m. followed by Po-Keeno at 11 a.m.; bingo on Sept. 29 at 10:45 a.m.; Shut the Box on Sept. 30 at 11 a.m.; bingo on Oct. 1 at 10:45 a.m.; Cornhole on Oct. 2 at 11 a.m.

Scattergories on Oct. 5 at 11 a.m.; birthday bingo on Oct. 6 at 10:45 a.m.; flu shots on Oct. 7 from 10 a.m. to noon, call the center to preregister; bingo on Oct. 8 at 10:45 a.m.; Wii bowling on Oct. 9 from 10 a.m. to noon.

Anyone coming to the center for a lunch or a social visit must preregister since we have a maximum 16-person capacity.

If someone is interested in coming for lunch or to check on activities, they can call the center at 570-669-9930 Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

• PV/Nesquehoning Senior Center: Oct 27, Nov 10 and 24.
