Trinity blessing of the animals

A “drive-thru” blessing of the animals will be held in honor of the Feast Day of St. Francis of Assisi on Oct. 5 from 6-6:30 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, Lehighton. All in the congregation and the community are invited to drive through and have your pets blessed. If you have a photo or ashes of a deceased pet, Pastor Nancy Moore will offer a prayer of remembrance in their name.

Please enter the drive-thru by proceeding along Center Alley from South Street, turn right onto Iron Street in front of Jack & Jill Preschool, and proceed forward from there. Our pets are family, and we offer this time of blessing to honor their companionship and unconditional love, thanking God, our creator, for giving them to us to know and to love. Hope you’ll attend!
