The sacrament of Confession continues to be offered by appointment only. To schedule a time, please call the Rectory Office. All other parish and diocesan news can be found on the parish webpage at: www.shcpalmerton.org.

This weekend we celebrate the Twenty-Fifth Sunday in Ordinary time. The Scriptures tell us the Lord is equally generous in compassion and love to both those who are quick to respond to Him, as well as to those who are slow to hear his call. The Lord is gracious and good to all.

This Sunday, Lief Kreimoyer will be baptized as our newest member and we extend our prayers and welcome.

On Tuesday, Deacon Girard will offer the Protecting God’s Children training session at 6 p.m. in the Sacred Heart Social Hall. Any employed or volunteer youth worker who will work with parish children this year is required to take their course before their involvement. To register call St. John Neumann Regional School at 610-826-2354 or the Parish Rectory Office at 610-826-2335.

We are also happy to announce Sept. 26 is the wedding of Gabrielle Homlak to Cody Remaly.

Father Bill continues to ask for prayers, through the intercession of Father Walter Ciszek whose cause for canonization to Sainthood is under study, that God will bless us with a cure for COVID-19 and restore the physical, spiritual, emotional and financial health to our global family.
