Mortgage payments are late, medicines for seniors and veterans are arriving weeks late, Social Security checks for hundreds of thousands of seniors are delayed, and perfectly good mail sorting machines worth thousands of our tax dollars are being scrapped. Baby chicks remain in post offices until they die.

The reason for these problems was spelled out by President Donald Trump recently in an interview on Fox Business Network. The president noted that Democrats are seeking additional money for the post office. He told the Fox News host, Maria Bartiromo, that without that money the post office wouldn’t have the resources to handle the mail-in and absentee ballots.

“If we don’t make a deal, that means they don’t get the money. That means they can’t have universal mail-in voting: They just can’t have it.”

That is not fake news. That is an actual quote. How can someone be so uncaring of so many because he hopes it will aid his election. Please don’t let him do your thinking for you.
